The Yale University Women’s Organization (YUWO) was founded in 1965 “to provide an opportunity for women of the Yale community to meet and pursue common intellectual and social interests.” For more information about the history of the organization, click here.

The organization sponsors various activity groups that focus on specific interests of the members. YUWO also sponsors three popular lecture series: the monthly Lunch and Learn programs, and the Fall and Spring Study Groups. YUWO also sponsors several bus trips during the year to destinations of interest throughout the region.

Our calendar also includes three special events — the annual Welcome Reception, the holiday Gala, and the annual luncheon in May.
