Dr. Jay Gitlin, Senior Lecturer in History and Associate Director of the Howard Lamar Center for the Study of Frontiers and Borders, will speak on "The Evolution of Shopping at Home." His most recent book was published in 2018: Country Acres and Cul-de-Sacs: Reimagining Connecticut, 1938 to 1952.
