Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center

Save June 18th to experience this major resource on the history and cultures of Native Americans in the Northeast and the region’s rich natural history. The museum focuses on the Mashantucket Pequot tribe through illuminating exhibits, traditional workshops and interactive programs.

Our customized excursion includes admission to the museum, an instructor-led tour highlighting the exhibits, the special “Thirteen Moons” enrichment program and lunch. The cost will be about $50, not including lunch. The formal tour will run from 11:00 to 2:30 and you’ll have time after that to tour the facility and grounds on your own.

June is a particularly good time to visit because the school tours have concluded for the school year and the museum is less crowded. We don’t plan to charter a bus for this excursion. Get together with friends to drive up through the shoreline and eastern Connecticut…it’s only about an hour from New Haven.
