New Haven Museum Local Excursion & Lecture

New Haven Museum 114 Whitney Ave New Haven 06510
Organized by Sandra Greer

Mike Moran, the current local New Haven Historian will be our guide for a discussion of the Yale and Slavery project, started in 2020. This project offers significant insight into the history of New Haven, Yale and the surrounding communities that evolved since the establishment of the University in 1701.

Mike will guide us through these years and will also lead us in an open discussion during lunch in the lecture hall.

As we will have the entire museum to ourselves on that day, we hope to encourage broader participation with him, given the complex and enduring history of this city and its inhabitants.

Please bring a brown bag lunch
All are encouraged to make a donation at the door as we begin this fascinating journey.

Mike Morand, our host.
