Walkers Group
The next walk will take place Thursday March 10 in East Rock Park in New Haven.
This is a walk on asphalt road, closed at this time to vehicle traffic, and is currently totally cleared of snow.
It is an out and back, 4.6 mile walk with a gentle uphill grade and total elevation of 340 ft.
There is the option of making it shorter by turning around at any time, depending on the wishes of the group.
We will start from the end of Orange St, where it dead ends at English Drive
GPS: Orange st.&English drive New Haven
Park along Orange St as far to the end as possible.
We will meet at 9:45 for a 10 o’clock start
Please text me at 203-804-3133, 24 hours before the hike to let me know if you will be coming, so we can be sure to wait for you should you be delayed.
If inclement weather, I will send an email around 7:30 on the day of the hike.
