Our next walk will take place on Thursday March 26, at the Farm River Preserve State Park in East Haven.
This is a 2.4 mile out and back hike, about half of which is on a wide flat path and half on woods trail.
The woods trail part has roots and rocks, and there is an option to skip this latter part and keep to the 1.2 miles of trail devoid of rocks and roots if you wish.
Dogs on leash are permitted
DO NOT park at the park entrance on Short Beach Road.
We will park at a larger lot on Hoop Pole Lane
GPS: 74-94 Hoop Pole Lane East, East Haven
We will meet at 9:45 for a 10 o’clock start
Please text me at 203-804-3133, 24 hours before the hike to let me know if you will be coming, so we can be sure to wait for you should you be delayed.
If inclement weather, I will send an email to cancel before 7:30 on the day of the hike.
