The next hike will be at the Branford Supply Pond Park , on Tuesday Dec 16.
This is a 2.1 mile loop along the blue, yellow and green trails.
This is an easy hike with a few gentle inclines, relatively few rocks and roots.
It is a wide packed trail popular for walking, bike riding and dog walking.
We will meet at 9:45 for a 10 o’clock start

Directions: Coming from New Haven take route 95 north to exit 54 Cedar St.
Turn right onto Cedar St., then left onto N.Main St.
Turn left onto Chestnut St which after about 0.6 miles will turn almost 180 degree and change its name to Short Rocks Rd.
Right where the name change occurs, at that turn, on the left, is the main and largest parking area, and where we will meet.
If coming south on route 95, take exit 55. At the end of the ramp make a right onto route 1, then another right on to Mill Plain Rd, then a left on to Short Rocks Rd to where the name change to Chestnut St occurs, before the turn. At the parking lot on the right is the meeting place
We will meet in front of the sign saying Branford Supply Pond Park
GPS: 86 Short Rocks Rd
If that lot is full there are other smaller lots both farther south on Chestnut Street and south on Short Rocks Rd, but these will entail a bit of a walk to get to our meeting point
